The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Burrows is defended easily by Brisebois.
Brisebois fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Burrows sprawls well initially but Brisebois persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Well, if Brisebois is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Burrows trying to hold on to Brisebois's head to control him but Brisebois postures up.
Brisebois seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Burrows looking for submissions off his back.
Brisebois is pressing down on Burrows's thigh, looking to free his foot. Burrows is holding on for now.
Brisebois is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Burrows moves into full guard.
Burrows throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Burrows working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brisebois doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brisebois manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Burrows is trying to control the position but Brisebois postures up.

Burrows is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Brisebois rolls with it to try and escape but Burrows cranks on the arm and Brisebois is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
