Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Diego Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Fry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Horrible takedown by Sanchez or perhaps it was just good defense by Fry which made him look bad.
Sanchez clinches up with Fry and pushes him back against the cage.
Fry wants to break the clinch but can't.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Fry connects with a nasty looking knee right to Sanchez's face.
Fry breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sanchez closes the distance and clinches.
The referee calls for Fry to work.

Sanchez tightens his grip and picks Fry up, before dumping him to the ground. Fry manages to land in guard.
Fry is trying to control the position but Sanchez postures up.

Sanchez tries to lock up and control but Fry gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fry cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fry looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Sanchez seems to have got his legs back now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fry wants to control the pace but Sanchez is squirming around nicely.
Fry is landing with some decent strikes but Sanchez is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Fry has control of Sanchez's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Sanchez regains control of the situation pretty easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Fry rushes Sanchez and presses him up against the cage.
Fry lands a big knee to the head and Sanchez goes down! Fry pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mac Fry!
