Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between big black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samko Kahric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). black comes into the arena with my life blaring out of the sound system. Kahric has chosen BHF as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, big black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samko Kahric!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
black rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kahric moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A left and a right from black both land. Nice combination.
Nice sprawl there from Kahric as black shoots in.
Kahric slaps away a takedown attempt from black, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nice takedown defense from Kahric. No joy for black on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for big black. That's going to take a lot out of him.
black takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
black tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kahric sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten black somewhat.
A big left from Kahric misses.
black swats away the attempt to clinch by Kahric.
black goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Kahric slips a jab from black.
A head kick misses from black.
Kahric throws a sloppy head kick
and black decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kahric's guard.
black wants to control from the top but Kahric keeps moving.
black wants to stand but Kahric has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
black drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kahric dives on top into guard.
Kahric drops back looking for a leg! black is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and black manages to kick Kahric off! Kahric jumps back into black's guard.

Kahric missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
black is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kahric is aware though and is defending well.
Kahric is fighting to break black's control of his arms but black is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
black looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
black preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

black working a defensive guard but Kahric manages to pass into side control anyway.

black wants to get back to his feet.
black is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kahric manages to capitalize on a mistake by black to take his back!
Kahric is trying to stick to black's back but black is turning into Kahric. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kahric's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by black.
Kahric looks gassed!
black wants to pass the guard but Kahric is keeping the position.
black trying to control but Kahric is working from the bottom.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
black throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kahric was covering up waiting for the punch and black finishes the takedown easily into guard.
black gets to his feet. Kahric looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
big black is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
black shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
black decides to return to a standing position.
Kahric is breathing heavily.
black closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kahric circles away.

black throws a leg kick
and Kahric counters with a good low kick that black was not able to check.
black uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kahric.
black instigates a clinch.
black working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
black jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kahric walks away with a smile on his face. black gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
black is looking to clinch but Kahric is avoiding it.
Kahric takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kahric throws a jab when black was well out of range.
black tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

black shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kahric sprawls well. Kahric wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. black gets slowly back to his feet.

black gets in close and instigates a clinch.
black has clasped his hands together around Kahric's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
A lull in the action here as black stalls from top position.
black wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kahric keeps working.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
black controls the position from side control.
The referee stands the fighters back up. big black just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
black cracks Kahric with an open hand slap.
black tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
black feints and then cracks Kahric's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kahric down.
black shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Kahric showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from black.
black misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
black tries to clinch but Kahric moves out of range.
black throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kahric.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
black shoots for a takedown but Kahric saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
black looks to land a combination. Kahric sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Samko Kahric has been cut.
Kahric takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
black fails in his attempt to clinch.

black changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kahric tries to avoid it but black manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kahric to the ground. Kahric escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kahric throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
black moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Danga de danga de dang - black scores with a four punch combination!

and Kahric counters with a nice double leg into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
black is trying to keep Kahric in close.
black looking for a guillotine here but Kahric defends easily.

black has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kahric can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

black looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

black closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - black lands in his opponent's guard.

big black is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
black passes Kahric's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Samko Kahric has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well, if black is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Well black has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
