Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasquez clinches.
Vasquez drops down looking for an ankle pick but Obolo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Vasquez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Obolo, pushing him back against the cage.
Vasquez has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Obolo is trying to keep an underhook but Vasquez manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Vasquez prevents Obolo from improving his position.
Vasquez slows the pace down in half guard.
Vasquez trying to control from half guard but Obolo is working away.
Obolo is looking to improve his position.
Obolo controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Obolo is trying to maintain the position but Vasquez is very close to passing his half guard.

Vasquez is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Obolo is trying to stand back up but Vasquez is controlling him
Vasquez stands up and beckons Obolo to join him on the feet.
Vasquez lands a two punch combo.
Obolo throws a right and a left that Vasquez avoids nicely.
Obolo tries to keep at a distance but Vasquez has taken the fight into the clinch.

Vasquez has Obolo pushed against the cage.
Vasquez gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Vasquez takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Obolo is staying active underneath Vasquez, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Obolo tries to kick Vasquez off but Vasquez keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Vasquez is pressing down on Obolo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Obolo is holding on for now.
Still in half guard, Vasquez seems content to control.
Obolo is looking to improve his position.
Vasquez moves nicely into side control.
Vasquez is breathing heavily.

Obolo is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Vasquez has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Vasquez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Vasquez prevents Obolo from standing back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Obolo pushes Vasquez off but Vasquez dives into side control.
Obolo is letting Vasquez control him for a moment.
You can see the frustration on Obolo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Obolo tries to bench press Vasquez off him but Vasquez keeps the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Obolo closes the distance and clinches.
Obolo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Obolo wants to clinch
and Vasquez counters by moving into the clinch.
Come on Obolo - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Vasquez goes for a takedown attempt but Obolo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Vasquez walks forward, straight into a front kick from Obolo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miguel Vasquez dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Vasquez blocks a head kick by Obolo.
Obolo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vasquez, pushing him back against the cage.
Obolo can't get the takedown.
Vasquez is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Obolo pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Vasquez tries to pull guard but Obolo holds him up against the cage and eventually Vasquez drops back down to his feet.
Obolo looking to throw knees to the head but Vasquez is blocking nicely.
Vasquez is trying to stall.
Vasquez is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miguel Vasquez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Obolo misses with the head strike.
Obolo tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Vasquez takes an elbow to the temple.
Vasquez tries for a takedown. No joy.
Obolo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Obolo tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Vasquez counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Vasquez.
Obolo wants to stand but Vasquez is controlling the position.
Vasquez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Obolo is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Obolo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Obolo manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Vasquez looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Obolo!
Obolo is looking to improve his position but Vasquez isn't that keen on the idea.
Vasquez looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Obolo is trying desperately to improve position.
Vasquez fails to take his opponent's back.

Vasquez prevents Obolo from getting the reversal.
Vasquez content just to control the position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Obolo is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Vasquez has taken his back.
Vasquez is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Obolo won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Vasquez off his unconscious opponent!
