Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gale shoots in and bounces Son off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Son is trying to keep Gale in close.
Gale throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Son escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gale gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Son tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gale chips away with some ground and pound.
Gale trying to control the position from guard on top but Son is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gale working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Son's head.

Gale postures up in Son's guard and throws a big left but Son blocks it.
Son knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gale on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gale is pushing down on Son's leg trying to pass to half guard. Son is fighting to maintain full guard but Gale has managed to sneak the leg through.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
