Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shaolin Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Metzger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shaolin Master!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matt Metzger!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metzger rushes Master and presses him up against the cage.
Metzger manages to break the clinch.
Master looks to score with a jab to the body but Metzger is just out of range.
Master tries to clinch up
and Metzger counters with a good low kick that Master was not able to check.
Metzger has a takedown stuffed.
Matt Metzger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Metzger throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Master was covering up waiting for the punch and Metzger finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Metzger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Master swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Master is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Metzger throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Metzger gets to his feet - Master follows without any prompting.
Master gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Metzger counters by clinching up.
Metzger breaks the clinch.
Master gets caught flat footed, as Metzger shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Metzger wants to control from the top but Master keeps moving.
Metzger pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Master is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Metzger postures up.
Metzger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Master looking to hit a scissor sweep but Metzger is one step ahead there.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Metzger accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Metzger passes Master's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Master is breathing heavily.
Metzger is trying to control the action in half guard but Master is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Metzger in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Master tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Metzger!
