The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phoff misses with a straight left.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rayson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rayson misses with a takedown attempt - Phoff sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Phoff moves out of range of the strikes.
Phoff misses with a body kick.
Rayson getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Rayson misses with a wild combination.
Phoff throws a chopping leg kick but Rayson manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rayson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Phoff.

Rayson scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Melvin Phoff has been cut.

Rayson shoots in and drives through. Phoff sprawls well.
Phoff throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Phoff throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rayson counters with a left and a right... And another left! Phoff is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
