Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Navarro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Frey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frey has chosen Conquer All - Behemoth as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Navarro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Frey! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Navarro shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Frey defends it nicely. Frey feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Frey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Navarro swivels though and keeps the full guard. Frey trying to control the position from guard on top but Navarro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Frey looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frey wants to control from the top but Navarro keeps moving. Navarro can't keep his opponent in guard - Frey advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Frey throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Frey missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Frey is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Navarro has managed to free his arm - good work.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Navarro scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Navarro is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Frey looks like he's trying to stand up.
Navarro is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Frey defends it well. Navarro has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Navarro goes for an armbar but Frey turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Frey. Navarro is breathing heavily. Navarro can't keep his opponent in guard - Frey advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Frey not doing much here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Frey wants to work for an arm triangle but Navarro is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Frey lands a nice short elbow. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Frey wants to pass to mount but Navarro is defending the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rick Frey dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Frey tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Frey doesn't succeed with the takedown and Navarro counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Navarro seems to be looking for submissions.

Navarro looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Frey makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Frey. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Navarro drops back, looking for a kneebar! Frey looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Frey looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Frey! Navarro prevents Frey from moving into mount. Frey is looking to take a break and control but Navarro is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Frey goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Navarro rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Frey's guard! Nice work there by Navarro!
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Frey trying to keep a closed guard but Navarro is proving a slippery customer.
Navarro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Navarro drops back, looking for a kneebar! Frey looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Frey looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Frey! Frey tries to advance to mount but can't.

Frey is trying to maintain the position but Navarro is very close to passing his half guard. Navarro really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The fighters are battling for position here. Frey manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Navarro is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Frey is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Frey has escaped and now he's on top! Frey stands up from Navarro's guard - Frey perhaps looking for a knockout. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Navarro dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Frey clinches but Navarro breaks the clinch and Navarro counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Navarro. Frey is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Frey wants to sweep here but Navarro controlling him for the moment. Navarro thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Frey has his hands on Navarro's head, controlling the position. Navarro stopping the sweep attempt from Frey. Frey controls Navarro momentarily but Navarro frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frey wriggles free and stands up. Frey looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Navarro! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Frey trying to control but Navarro is having none of it. Navarro tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frey can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Navarro is looking to escape. Frey throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frey tries to control but Navarro wriggling away. Navarro blocking the ground and pound. Frey moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Navarro has worked his arm free - good work by Navarro!
Frey tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Navarro is looking for a sweep. Frey taking a break here but Navarro is having none of it and regains half guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Frey wants to control but Navarro is keeping him busy.
And that's the end of the fight! Eddie Navarro showed his dominance in that final round. I think Navarro has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
