Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter English (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter English has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter English! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Page! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Page shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches English napping and manages to drive through into side control! English can't do much from the bottom here. English avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Page. Page working away. Page postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
English is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Page's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Page working over English with some ground and pound. English looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Page tries to stand but his arm is trapped. English has hold of Page's hands but Page slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Page thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. English is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Page pulls his head out easily. English wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Page wants to control but English is keeping him busy. English pushes Page off looking to stand but Page dives back in and keeps control.
Page thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed English's head. Page sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. English defending well though. English slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Page stands up over English, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Page drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but English manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Page has English in his guard. English trying to control the position from guard on top but Page is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Page trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. English pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Page is keeping the position for now. English trying to stand up but can't free himself from Page's guard. Page looking for a sweep. Not yet Page, not yet. English trying to control but Page is working from the bottom. English trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Page is trying to hold English in close to prevent damage but English has managed to pass into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. English tries to stand and escape but Page is controlling the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. English throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Page sees it coming and avoids it easily. Page throws a one two combo.
Page closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Page lands in his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. English thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Page trying to control the position from guard on top but English is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. English is trying to control the position from the bottom.
English looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. English bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Page's guard. Page tries to land a sweep but no joy. English trying to stand up but can't free himself from Page's guard. English looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. English trying to control but Page is working from the bottom. Page working a defensive guard but English manages to pass into side control anyway.
Page is trying to improve his position. Page is not content to let English control the position. English decides to stand up, so the ref orders Page to his feet. English tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Page paws at him with a jab and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Page dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
English misses with a low kick.

Peter English seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. English doesn't succeed with the takedown and Page counters with a nice double leg into side control. English won't be happy with that. Page scoring with punches from side control. Page connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused English some visible discomfort.
Page is trying to ground and pound but English uses the momentary lack of control by Page to regain half guard. English blocking the ground and pound attempt from Page. Sean Page has got the better of the ground game so far. English is looking to control Page's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can English avoid being mounted? English tries to get to full guard but Page has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Page not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Page throwing shots but English is blocking nicely. English keeping hold of Page's head, controlling as best he can.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. English tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Page counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Page lands a nice short elbow. English is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Page's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Page's back! Page breaks English's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Page wants to control from the top but English keeps moving. English trying to keep a closed guard but Page is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. English keeping full guard, as Page tries to pass. English is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Page really doesn't want to stay on the ground with English. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. English throwing shots but Page is blocking nicely. English is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Page has managed to free his arm - good work. English is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Page defends it well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Page is looking to control English's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Page avoid being mounted?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Page tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Page wants to improve his position but English is controlling well.

English is working hard here to advance position. English bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! English looking to pass the guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Page wants to sweep here but English controlling him for the moment. Page is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Page showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
English takes one on the chin but seems OK.
English tries for a takedown but Page circles away easily and Page moves into the clinch. English is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Page gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. English escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Peter English is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Page shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Page raining down shots from the mount!
It looks like Peter English has been cut. Page tries to control but English wriggling away. Page scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish English?
English tries to buck Page off but he can't manage it. The referee warns English that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Peter English's cut is getting worse. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. English tries to get back to half guard but can't. A nice elbow there by Page.
Jeez, Peter English's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Page pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Peter English's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Sean Page!
