Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moretti shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Carter napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Carter is looking to regain half guard here but Moretti keeps moving and retains side control.
Moretti tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carter bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Carter goes for an armbar but Moretti turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Moretti.

Carter manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Moretti misses with a wild combination.
Moretti tries to bum rush Carter with a series of wild strikes but Carter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Moretti lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carter circles away quickly and effectively.
Moretti stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Moretti wants it to stay on the feet.

and Carter counters with a shoot takedown. Moretti fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Carter connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Moretti some visible discomfort.

Carter scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Moretti to see if he's OK.
Carter decides to stand back up. Carter steps back and let's Moretti get back to his feet.
Carter shoots in and bounces Moretti off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Moretti wants to stand and escape but Carter is having none of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Carter is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Moretti's half guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Carter pushes a forearm under Moretti's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Moretti is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
