Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buck Nutt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mondial Dos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nutt comes to the cage accompanied by seek n destroy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Buck Nutt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mondial Dos! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nutt moves in looking to clinch but Dos pushes him off. Nutt closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dos to the mat! Dos manages to get full guard. Nutt stops Dos from standing up. Nutt has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dos keeping moving, preventing Nutt from controlling successfully. Nutt throwing strikes from guard but Dos blocks nicely. Dos seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Nutt stops Dos from standing up. Dos pulls Nutt in close to prevent any damage. Dos is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Dos breaks from the clinch.
Nutt is looking to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nutt throws a right and a left that Dos avoids nicely. Nutt wants to clinch. Nutt takes one to the chin there. Dos fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dos defending well as Nutt loads up on a big left hand. Nutt gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dos postures up.
Dos is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Dos passes easily into side control. Nice work. Dos stands up. Dos scores with a takedown into Nutt's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nutt tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nutt is trying to keep Dos in close.
Dos trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Nutt is working an open guard so Dos takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nutt misses with a body shot.
Nutt tries a head kick but it misses.
Dos scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Nutt with a poor takedown and Dos counters by moving into the clinch. Nutt is breathing heavily. Nutt missing with knees to the body.
Dos connects with a nasty looking knee right to Nutt's face.
Nutt throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Dos gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Nutt regains guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nutt swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dos trying to control the position from guard on top but Nutt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dos looking to pass the guard. Dos passes easily into side control. Nice work. Nutt pushes Dos away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dos gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Nutt is not content to let Dos control the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nutt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dos. Nutt misses with a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Nutt throws a sloppy head kick and Dos counters with a three punch combo that has Nutt backing up. Nutt nods at Dos to acknowledge the strikes. Dos looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Dos stands and throws Nutt's legs to the side, diving into side control. Dos decides to stand back up. Dos steps back and let's Nutt get back to his feet. Dos tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dos clinches with his opponent.
Dos looking to throw knees to the head but Nutt is blocking nicely.
Dos tries for a takedown but Nutt manages to get underhooks.
Nutt is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dos pulls him back up using the underhooks. Nutt takes a knee to the side of the body. Dos breaks the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dos circles away from the clinch attempt and Dos counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Nutt thinking. Nutt misses with a takedown and Dos counters with a thumping low kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mondial Dos dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Dos moves into the clinch. Nutt stops a takedown attempt from Dos.
Dos utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Dos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A head kick by Nutt misses and Dos counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Dos rushes Nutt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Nutt can't get the takedown.
Nutt prevents the takedown attempt.
Dos is working for takedown but Nutt is calmly controlling the position for now. Buck Nutt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mondial Dos. Dos breaks the clinch.
Nutt throws a head kick but Dos moves out of range.
Nutt falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dos counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nutt's guard now. Nutt can't keep his opponent in guard - Dos advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Dos works his foot free and advances to mount. Mondial Dos has got the better of the ground game so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dos is in the full mount, landing strikes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nutt defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Dos. Dos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Dos looking to control but Nutt is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Nutt slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Nutt tries to kick Dos off but Dos keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Nutt misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Dos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nutt is just riding it out for now. Dos eventually gives up the hold. Nutt looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dos is trying for a kimura here. Nutt looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Dos wins by kimura!
