Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Apollo Creed!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pullford shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Pullford is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Pullford thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Creed is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Creed wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Pullford advances to full mount.

Apollo Creed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Creed throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Pullford gets the takedown into side control.
Creed pushes Pullford away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Pullford gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Pullford shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Creed napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Pullford wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Creed, who protects the arm well.
