The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almeida lands with an overhand left.
Almeida slips under a jab.

Almeida throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tito's waist but Tito gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Almeida off to one side.
Tito lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Tito misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Almeida comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Tito dives in and grabs Almeida's left leg, looking for a takedown. Almeida pushes down on Tito's head and hops out.

Tito shoots in looking for a takedown. Almeida tries to sprawl out of it but Tito keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Almeida manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tito walks into a straight right hand from Almeida.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Almeida throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Almeida wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Almeida darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Almeida wants to take a breather but Tito manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Almeida.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
