Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carlos da Guia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liberato Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mass Hypnosis. Liberato Silva will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from da Guia.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. da Guia tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag da Guia to the ground. da Guia escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

da Guia shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

da Guia changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
