Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Fire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and PierreLuc Beaulieu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beaulieu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Disturbed, Indestructible kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Fire! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, PierreLuc Beaulieu! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beaulieu tries a head kick but it misses.
Beaulieu closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Beaulieu lands in his opponent's guard. Fire wants to stand and escape but Beaulieu is having none of it. Fire controls Beaulieu momentarily but Beaulieu frees himself. Beaulieu trying to control the position from guard on top but Fire is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fire tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fire looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Beaulieu must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Beaulieu trying to control but Fire is working from the bottom. Fire has a closed guard, preventing Beaulieu from standing up. Fire utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Fire escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Beaulieu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. That's one minute gone in the round. Beaulieu stopping the sweep attempt from Fire. Fire keeping moving, preventing Beaulieu from controlling successfully. Beaulieu with a flurry of punches that miss. Fire trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Fire lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Beaulieu! Beaulieu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fire. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Beaulieu tries to hold on but Fire pushes him away. Fire can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Beaulieu is looking to escape. Beaulieu controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fire landing strikes, looking to finish! Fire punishing his opponent with strikes. Fire with shots to the head and body - Beaulieu looks very uncomfortable down there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beaulieu tries to hold on but Fire pushes him away. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fire cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fire lands a big shot there that rocks Beaulieu but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Fire lands a nice shot to the head. Beaulieu is squirming around, avoiding Fire's attempts to control the action. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Fire is in the full mount, landing strikes. Beaulieu is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Fire is going olschool here, as he tries to force Beaulieu to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Beaulieu shrugs it off. Fire is breathing heavily. Fire swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Beaulieu is now in Fire's guard. A big mistake from Fire there, giving up the dominant position!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fire bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Beaulieu's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fire won't allow Beaulieu to get back to his feet. Fire thows a big elbow that misses. Beaulieu trying to control the position.

Fire controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Beaulieu pulls Fire in to control the position. Fire advances to half guard. Beaulieu actively working from the bottom here. Fire wants to lay and pray for a moment but Beaulieu keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beaulieu is trying to get back to full guard. Fire seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Fire has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fire working over Beaulieu with some ground and pound. Beaulieu looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Fire frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Beaulieu in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Beaulieu tries to hold on but Fire pushes him away. Beaulieu really wants to buck Fire off and get back to his feet. Beaulieu tries to lock up and control but Fire gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Fire with the ground and pound from mount. Fire lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Fire looking for a guillotine from mount but Beaulieu is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Fire dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Beaulieu. Fire shrugs it off though. No joy there for Beaulieu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fire with a poor takedown and Beaulieu counters with a nice double leg into guard. Fire escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Beaulieu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fire working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Beaulieu. Fire working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Beaulieu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Beaulieu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Beaulieu trying to control but Fire is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beaulieu loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Beaulieu working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Beaulieu throwing strikes from guard but Fire blocks nicely. Peter Fire overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Beaulieu wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
