And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trevor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bute with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Trevor shoots for a takedown but Bute saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bute is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Trevor moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Trevor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bute is fending him off so far but Trevor persists. Nope, Bute circles away and we're back to standing.
Trevor misses with a two punch combination.

Trevor clinches with his opponent.
The referee calls for Trevor to work.
Trevor is pressed up against the cage. Bute has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Trevor down to the mat. Trevor avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Trevor closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Trevor breaks the clinch.
Trevor tries for a takedown but Bute sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Trevor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Trevor is breathing heavily.
Bute closes the distance looking to clinch

and Trevor counters with a shoot takedown. Bute fights it but they end up in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bute controlling Trevor's posture.
Bute really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trevor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Trevor gets to his feet. Bute looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bute fails with the takedown

and Trevor holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bute tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Trevor just stands there and leans against the cage.

Trevor breaks the clinch.
Bute scoring well with a low kick there.
Bute tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Trevor swivels and escapes.
Bute tests Trevor's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Trevor blocks a head kick by Bute.
Bute lands a head kick. Trevor smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Trevor takes a kick to the side of the head.
A combination from Trevor does no damage.
Bute looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Trevor lands with a big right hook that stumbles Bute - he's out on his feet here! Trevor follows up with another monster hook that separates Bute from consciousness! Bute falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Trevor stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
