Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Tony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Babli Al Hassan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James Tony! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Babli Al Hassan! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tony throws a nice looking combination but Al Hassan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Tony's corner calls for a 1-2. Tony obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Babli Al Hassan has been cut. Al Hassan fails with the takedown. Tony throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Al Hassan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Tony wants to stand and escape but Al Hassan is having none of it. Tony has his feet on Al Hassan's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Al Hassan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Tony with a nice cross. Al Hassan motions for Tony to come forward. Al Hassan throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Tony misses the jab. A swing and a miss from Tony. Tony misses with a wild body shot. Tony takes a swing at Al Hassan's ribcage but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Al Hassan slips under a jab. Al Hassan needs to keep his hands up - Tony had a free shot at his head there. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Al Hassan has eaten all the pies! Tony throws a big shot that misses. Al Hassan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tony swivels and escapes. Al Hassan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Al Hassan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tony's waist but Tony gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Al Hassan off to one side. James Tony has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Babli Al Hassan. Horrible takedown by Al Hassan or perhaps it was just good defense by Tony which made him look bad. Al Hassan has a takedown stuffed. Al Hassan looks for a takedown but Tony sprawls well. Tony is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Al Hassan looks gassed! Tony misses with a looping left. Al Hassan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tony's waist but Tony gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Al Hassan off to one side. Tony's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Tony duly obliges. Tony looks to land a right hand but Al Hassan moved out of range. Tony throws a hook but Al Hassan blocks it. Al Hassan shoots in looking for a takedown. Tony tries to sprawl out of it but Al Hassan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tony manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tony lands a slapping body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Al Hassan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tony.
Al Hassan slips a straight right by Tony. Tony getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Al Hassan takes a jab right on the kisser.
That has opened up Babli Al Hassan's cut even more. Tony lands a body shot.
Tony pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Tony fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
James Tony is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tony lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Tony throws a right and a left that Al Hassan avoids nicely. Al Hassan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Al Hassan is rocked! Tony scores with a hook to the body. Al Hassan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Al Hassan is still on wobbly legs! Can Tony finish him? Tony lands with a big right hook that stumbles Al Hassan - he's out on his feet here! Tony follows up with another monster hook that separates Al Hassan from consciousness! Al Hassan falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Tony stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). James Tony!
