Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Montagu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Crack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Montagu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bill Crack! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montagu tries to clinch but Crack is having none of it. Montagu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Montagu closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Montagu lands in his opponent's guard. Montagu missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Montagu trying to control the position from guard on top but Crack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crack bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Montagu's guard. Montagu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Montagu wants to sweep but no luck. Crack content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crack being controlled here momentarily. Montagu working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Crack. Crack throwing strikes from guard but Montagu blocks nicely. Montagu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Crack lands a couple of decent looking shots. Crack trying to stand up but can't free himself from Montagu's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Crack is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. I looks like Crack might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Crack throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montagu has his hands on Crack's head, controlling the position. Crack is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Crack throwing strikes from guard but Montagu blocks nicely. Crack slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Crack decides to take the fight back to the feet. Montagu fails to land with a series of punches.
Crack with a body punch. A glancing blow. Crack looks to score with a jab to the body but Montagu is just out of range. Crack thows a left - swing and a miss! Crack lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Frank Montagu has been cut. Crack keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Crack ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Montagu moves away. Crack tries for a takedown but Montagu circles away easily and Montagu decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Crack's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bill Crack dominated that round. The cut man is working on Frank Montagu's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Crack defending well as Montagu loads up on a big left hand. Crack throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Montagu walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Frank Montagu is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Crack closes this distance looking for a takedown but Montagu circles away. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Crack takes a swing at Montagu's ribcage but misses. Crack tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Montagu was well out of range. Poor timing from Crack. A punch lands to the side of Montagu 's head but he takes it in his stride. Crack defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Montagu. Montagu fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Crack misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Montagu.
Crack misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crack fails with an attempt to clinch.
Montagu throws a left and a right that both miss
and Crack counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Crack lands with a nice body punch. Crack drops his shoulder and cracks Montagu with a huge uppercut! Montagu goes down! Can Crack finish him?
Montagu is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Crack controls from within his opponent's guard. Oh Montagu is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Crack is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Montagu seems to have got his legs back now. Crack loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Crack is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montagu controls Crack momentarily but Crack frees himself. Crack advances position into side control! Crack cracks Montagu with a big right hand but Montagu just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Crack moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Montagu regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crack trying to control the pace. Crack's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Montagu makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Crack stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Crack wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Montagu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crack misses with a jab, cross combination.
Montagu closes this distance looking for a takedown but Crack circles away. Crack throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Crack shoots for a takedown but Montagu saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Crack ducks under a wild hook from Montagu. Crack lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Montagu misses with a leg kick. Crack circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Montagu to the canvas! Montagu doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Crack keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bill Crack!
