Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dave Blevins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buakaw Pramuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dave Blevins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Buakaw Pramuk!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blevins dives in and grabs Pramuk's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pramuk pushes down on Blevins's head and hops out.

Blevins shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pramuk manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blevins trying to control but Pramuk is working from the bottom.
Blevins won't allow Pramuk to get back to his feet.

Blevins tries to free his leg and advance position but Pramuk is retaining full guard.
Blevins missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Blevins drops back looking for a leg! Pramuk is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pramuk manages to kick Blevins off! Blevins jumps back into Pramuk's guard.
Pramuk wants to stand but Blevins is controlling the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pramuk connects with a high kick.
Blevins fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Blevins fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pramuk avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dave Blevins. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Blevins closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pramuk to the mat! Pramuk manages to get full guard.
Blevins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pramuk works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Blevins closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pramuk circles away.
Blevins wants to clinch up but Pramuk keeps it at a distance.
Pramuk throws a wild body kick that Blevins sees coming a mile off.
Pramuk misses with a head kick.
Pramuk goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Blevins closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pramuk did well to prevent Blevins getting side control.
Blevins is breathing heavily.
Blevins is taking a breather. Pramuk says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Pramuk is looking to escape.
Blevins is trying to control the action in half guard but Pramuk is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Blevins prevents Pramuk from standing back up.

Pramuk won't allow Blevins to pass to mount.
Blevins is controlling the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pramuk defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Blevins.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Pramuk lands a nice leg kick that just misses Blevins's sensitive parts.

Pramuk stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pramuk wants it to stay on the feet.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Pramuk.
Pramuk scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Blevins crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pramuk - the referee stops the clock and Blevins gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pramuk. Blevins manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Blevins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pramuk sprawls well. Pramuk wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Blevins gets slowly back to his feet.
Pramuk tries to land a front kick but Blevins steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Pramuk lands with a kick to the ribs.
Pramuk misses with a low kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pramuk.
Pramuk lands a high kick!
Both fighters circling a little - Pramuk finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Pramuk throws a head kick that misses.
Blevins blocks a head kick by Pramuk.
Buakaw Pramuk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pramuk goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Blevins fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pramuk avoids it really well and circles away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Pramuk fakes the leg kick and cracks Blevins in the body.
Pramuk lands a head kick. Blevins smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Pramuk scores with a leg kick.
Pramuk swats away the attempt to clinch by Blevins.
Pramuk looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Pramuk fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Blevins.
Blevins misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Buakaw Pramuk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Pramuk throws a head kick that misses

Pramuk wants to get back to his feet.
Blevins tries to pass to full mount but Pramuk defends it.
Blevins performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Blevins is trying to control. Pramuk wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Pramuk looks like he's trying to stand up.
Pramuk takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Blevins is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pramuk has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Blevins changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pramuk looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pramuk is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Pramuk wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Blevins wants to control but Pramuk is keeping him busy.
Pramuk wants to get back to his feet but Blevins drags him back down.
Blevins is putting a hurting on Pramuk here, landing some big shots from side control.
Pramuk is trying to buck Blevins off.
Pramuk is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Blevins misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Blevins throws a strike aimed at the side of Pramuk's head but Pramuk avoids it well.
