Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Perosa Scapin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Liddell somewhat.
Perosa Scapin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Liddell gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Perosa Scapin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Perosa Scapin controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Perosa Scapin wanted to stand there but Liddell had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Perosa Scapin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Liddell is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Perosa Scapin defends well.

Perosa Scapin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Liddell swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Perosa Scapin's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Perosa Scapin stops Liddell from standing up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Liddell wants to hold on but Perosa Scapin pushes him away.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Perosa Scapin tries to close the distance and clinch but Liddell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Perosa Scapin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Liddell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Perosa Scapin counters by clinching up.
Liddell gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Perosa Scapin.
Liddell is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Perosa Scapin gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Perosa Scapin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Liddell takes one to the side of the head.
Liddell shoots and misses
and Perosa Scapin counters with a three punch combo that has Liddell backing up. Liddell nods at Perosa Scapin to acknowledge the strikes.

Perosa Scapin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Liddell, pushing him back against the cage.
Perosa Scapin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Chuck Liddell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Liddell swings away with a leg kick that misses.

and Perosa Scapin counters with a crisp one two that drops Liddell! Perosa Scapin thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Liddell to his feet! Liddell is in big trouble!
Liddell is rocked!
Perosa Scapin drops Liddell with a big left hand! Liddell is injured, injured bad! Perosa Scapin jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
