Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Lisaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Boren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Arthur Lisaki has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arthur Lisaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Austin Boren!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boren circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lisaki throws a low kick but Boren avoids it.
Lisaki misses with an attempted mid kick.
Lisaki throws a nice looking combination but Boren bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Boren shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Boren is taking a breather. Lisaki says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Lisaki makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Boren keeping hold of Lisaki's head, controlling as best he can.
Boren is trying to control but can't.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Boren is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Lisaki has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Boren cracks Lisaki with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Lisaki from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

I looks like Boren might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Boren takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Lisaki pushes Boren away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Boren gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
