Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damo Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Abbott is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Damo Thompson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Abbott! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abbott gets the takedown into side control. Abbott wants to stand but Thompson has his arm trapped. Thompson is not content to let Abbott control the position. Thompson pushes Abbott away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Abbott gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Thompson being controlled for a moment. Thompson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Abbott asserts his dominance and retains side control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. The fight stays on the outside here - Thompson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Abbott fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Thompson sprawls well initially but Abbott persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Abbott looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Abbott stalling away here and it's allowed Thompson to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thompson wants to stand up but Abbott is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Abbott with a flurry of punches that miss. Abbott wants to stand but Thompson is controlling his posture from full guard. Abbott trying to control the position from guard on top but Thompson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thompson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Thompson is breathing heavily. Abbott wanted to stand there but Thompson had control of the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Thompson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Thompson wants to clinch. Thompson misses with a takedown and Abbott counters with a takedown into side control. Thompson prevents Abbott from moving into mount. Abbott lands a nice forearm strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Abbott wants to stand but Thompson is controlling his arm. Abbott taking a break here but Thompson is having none of it and regains half guard. Abbott is just content to waste time from the top position. Thompson takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Abbott trying to control the position from guard on top but Thompson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Abbott wants to get up but he can't break Thompson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Thompson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Thompson kicks Abbott off and gets to his feet. Thompson tries to clinch up but Abbott circles away and keeps his distance. Abbott shoots in but Thompson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Thompson has his takedown stuffed and Abbott counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Abbott tries to stand but can't do so whilst Thompson controls his leg. Abbott is keen to just control but Thompson is a slippery customer. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Abbott is looking to stall here but Thompson recovers full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abbott trying to control the position from guard on top but Thompson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Abbott wants to pass the guard but Thompson is keeping the position. Abbott looking to sit in guard and control but Thompson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Thompson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Abbott, up you get! Thompson moves into range and clinches up with Abbott. Still in the clinch, Thompson scores with a nice short uppercut. Thompson lands with a left to the head. Thompson tries to pull guard but Abbott holds him up against the cage and eventually Thompson drops back down to his feet.
Abbott has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Thompson has Abbott pressed against the cage, preventing Abbott from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Thompson tries to stall but Abbott uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thompson pushes Abbott back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Abbott tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Thompson smiles and moves away.
Damo Thompson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Thompson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Abbott counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Abbott. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damo Thompson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Abbott is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Thompson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Thompson has escaped and now he's on top! Thompson wants to stand but Abbott has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Frank Abbott has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Abbott is striking but Thompson is not phased and passes to half guard. Abbott tries to get to full guard but Thompson has control of the leg. Abbott wants to sweep but Thompson has passed to side control! Thompson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Abbott showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Thompson tries to kick Abbott off but Abbott keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Abbott is trying to control. Thompson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Abbott stops Thompson from getting back to his feet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Thompson fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Thompson moves in looking to clinch but Abbott pushes him off. Thompson fails with the takedown and Abbott counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Thompson's guard now. Abbott stands up from Thompson's guard - Abbott perhaps looking for a knockout. Abbott feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Damo Thompson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Abbott trying to stand up but can't free himself from Thompson's guard. Thompson wants to stand but Abbott is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abbott wants to control from the top but Thompson keeps moving. Thompson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Abbott is controlling him. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Abbott looking to sit in guard and control but Thompson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Thompson postures up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Thompson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Abbott to score an easy takedown into full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Abbott comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Abbott winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
