Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Percy Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerard Klemens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klemens has chosen Jesus Walks as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Evans finds it's target.
It looks like Gerard Klemens has been cut.
Evans closes the distance and clinches.
Evans escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Evans gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Evans keeping moving, preventing Klemens from controlling successfully.
Klemens really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Evans. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Evans looking to hit a scissor sweep but Klemens is one step ahead there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Evans postures up in Klemens's guard and throws a big left but Klemens blocks it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Klemens feints and as Evans raises his hands in defense, Klemens changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Klemens stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Evans swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Evans manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Klemens in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Evans lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Evans throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Klemens was covering up waiting for the punch and Evans finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Evans not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Klemens pushes Evans off and scrambles back to his feet.

Evans shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Klemens manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

and Evans counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Evans.

Evans pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Klemens loads up on a big right hand but Evans slips the punch.
Evans lands with a kick to the temple. Klemens shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

and Evans counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Klemens!
Percy Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gerard Klemens.

Percy Evans overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Evans is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Klemens to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Klemens shrugs it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
