Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Barney Stinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Spartan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Stinson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to On the Eve of War - Jedi Mind Tricks. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spartan moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Stinson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Spartan fails to land with a series of punches.
Spartan loads up on a big right hand but Stinson slips the punch.
Stinson fails to land the takedown.
Spartan misses with a body shot.
Spartan throws a shot from downtown. Stinson moves away and avoids it.
Stinson blocks a jab.
Stinson shoots for a takedown but Spartan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Stinson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Spartan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stinson.

Stinson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Spartan is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Spartan and Stinson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Stinson swings around for an armbar but Spartan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Stinson's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stinson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Spartan defends well.

Stinson is working for a submission of some sort.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Spartan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Matt Spartan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Spartan steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Stinson is out on his feet! Spartan sets himself and nearly takes Stinson's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
