The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockhold avoids the head kick by Casimiri.
Rockhold moves into the clinch.
Casimiri gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rockhold .

Casimiri tries to break free but Rockhold pushes him back against the cage.
Casimiri is trying to break the clinch but Rockhold is controlling him.

Rockhold has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Rockhold loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Casimiri scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Rockhold land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Rockhold stands and salutes the crowd.
