Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wu Tang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominic Sankey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dominic Sankey has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Wu Tang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dominic Sankey!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sankey misses with a head kick.
Sankey misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sankey doesn't manage to clinch there - Tang circles away.

Tang shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sankey's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tang accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Tang won't allow Sankey to sweep him here.
Tang works over Sankey with some ground and pound from guard.

Tang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sankey keeps working.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Sankey is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tang's half guard.

Tang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sankey swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tang drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tang jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Sankey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tang gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Tang shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tang showed some decent athleticism there.
Sankey is trying to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wu Tang dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


No joy there for Sankey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Tang gets the takedown into side control.
Tang looks up at the clock and then as Sankey takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Tang smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Tang is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sankey is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Tang looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Sankey is avoiding damage well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Sankey shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Sankey is trying to control. Tang wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
