Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Yeww (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nils Dacke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nils Dacke will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ron Yeww! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nils Dacke! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dacke circles away from the clinch attempt.
Yeww shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yeww showed some decent athleticism there. Yeww controlling the pace. Yeww has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Yeww working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Dacke's thigh. Dacke counters though and makes it back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yeww not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Dacke is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Yeww showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dacke is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dacke looks gassed! Yeww passes Dacke's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yeww controlling the action here. Yeww seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dacke for as long as he can get away with. Yeww tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dacke knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Dacke wants to improve his position but Yeww is controlling well.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Ron Yeww just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Yeww misses with an attempted mid kick.
Dacke uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Yeww. Dacke has his takedown stuffed and Yeww counters with a nice double leg into guard. Yeww is stalling in the full guard. Yeww pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dacke is keeping the position for now.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dacke is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yeww is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Yeww keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dacke's head. Yeww stands and throws Dacke's legs to the side, diving into side control. Dacke is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Yeww is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dacke has escaped the position, nice work there. What's Dacke going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yeww decides to take the fight back to the feet. Yeww tries to clinch up. Dacke has his takedown stuffed and Yeww decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dacke's guard. Yeww is looking to work some ground and pound but Dacke has wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yeww throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dacke works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Yeww trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dacke looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Yeww looking to sit in guard and control but Dacke gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Dacke drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dacke jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dacke stops Yeww from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dacke wants to get up but he can't break Yeww's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Dacke. Yeww tries to close the distance and clinch but Dacke swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dacke lands a slapping body shot.
Yeww takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Dacke will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Yeww shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Yeww was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Yeww wants to control the pace but Dacke is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ron Yeww dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Yeww closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dacke to the mat! Dacke manages to get full guard. Yeww slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Yeww postures up in Dacke's guard and throws a big left but Dacke blocks it. Yeww stands and throws Dacke's legs to the side, diving into side control. Yeww decides to stand back up. Yeww throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dacke was covering up waiting for the punch and Yeww finishes the takedown easily into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Yeww's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dacke is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Yeww is controlling him. Yeww controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Dacke is looking for a triangle but Yeww pushes his legs off easily.
Yeww stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dacke swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Yeww stopping the sweep attempt from Dacke. Dacke wants to control the position but Yeww says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Yeww decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Dacke tries to clinch and Yeww counters with a nice double leg into guard. Dacke had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Yeww defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dacke looking for a sweep. Not yet Dacke, not yet. Dacke is pulling down on Yeww's head to control his posture. Dacke is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Yeww stands up from guard. Let's bang! Yeww wants to clinch but Dacke slips to the side and Dacke connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Dacke with a lazy takedown attempt and Yeww counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dacke!

Nils Dacke has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ron Yeww is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Yeww takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that's the end of the fight! Ron Yeww showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Yeww, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
