The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villareal looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Billups closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Billups lands in his opponent's guard.
Villareal has a closed guard, preventing Billups from standing up.
Villareal wants to sweep but no luck.
Billups decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Villareal, up you get!
Billups throws a push kick but Villareal slaps the foot to one side.
Billups closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Billups would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Villareal rolls with it to try and escape but Billups cranks on the arm and Villareal is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
