Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bishop's entrance music is Till I Collapse. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop fails to land the takedown.
Bishop throws a body kick that misses.

Creed is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Bishop still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Bishop has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Creed is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bishop defends well.

Bishop decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Bishop is breathing heavily.
Bishop throws a leg kick but Creed sees it coming and moves out of range.
Bishop throws a right hand that Creed ducks under and follows up with a left that Creed also avoids with ease.

and Creed counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bishop!

Bishop has given up his back here. Will Creed look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Creed is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bishop is defending well though. Creed let's go of the attempt for now.
Bishop knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Creed on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bishop is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Creed gets his way!

Creed has got his arm under Bishop's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Bishop has spun round into Creed's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bishop looking to sit in guard and control but Creed gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Creed shoots in for a double leg but Bishop sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

so Creed counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Creed seems to be looking for submissions.
Bishop is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Creed uses his free foot to push down on Bishop's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bishop.
Creed wants to take Bishop's back but he can't do it this time.
Creed avoids the attempt from Bishop to control.

Creed has hold of Bishop's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bishop manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Creed is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bishop has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Creed goes for an armbar but Bishop turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bishop.

Creed bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bishop's guard.

Creed thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Creed passes into half guard.

Creed looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bishop wants to control but Creed is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Creed has control of Bishop's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bishop regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Creed is working for a rear naked choke. Bishop is not defending it well and Creed has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Bishop refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Bishop's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
