The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedrigo throws a one two combo.
Rudimar Fedrigo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fedrigo shoots in for a takedown but Edwards shows good takedown defense.
Edwards throws a body kick that misses.
Fedrigo misses with a series of wild punches.
Fedrigo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fedrigo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Edwards momentarily.
Fedrigo throws a series of punches but Edwards avoids them all with ease.
Fedrigo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Edwards throws a series of punches but Fedrigo avoids them all with ease.

Fedrigo tries to pull guard but Edwards won't allow it.
Edwards breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fedrigo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Edwards smiles and moves away.

Edwards throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fedrigo counters with a head kick.
Edwards blocks a head kick by Fedrigo.
Edwards lands a jab to the head.
Fedrigo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Edwards scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Fedrigo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Edwards is posturing up here but Fedrigo has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Edwards tries to roll out but it's too tight and Edwards has to tap! Slick submission there by Fedrigo!
