Gullich closes the distance and clinches up with Van Rijn, looking for a takedown. Gullich pushes Van Rijn against the cage but Van Rijn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gullich thows a body shot but no joy.

Van Rijn moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Van Rijn moves in looking to clinch but Gullich pushes him off.

Van Rijn lands a big head kick that sends Gullich tumbling to the mat! Van Rijn takes a step backwards and waves Gullich back to his feet - he wants the finish!

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Van Rijn lands a jab to Gullich's midsection.
A head kick misses from Van Rijn.
Van Rijn stalks Gullich and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gullich's face. Gullich staggers backwards, shaken.
Gullich drops his hands momentarily and Van Rijn needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Gullich just on the top of the head. Gullich drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Gullich - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Mike Van Rijn!
