Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between sugar rashad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Storm Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Storm Shadow struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 137.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Storm Shadow looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadow throws a right and a left that both miss.
Shadow throws a sloppy head kick and rashad moves out of range easily.
Shadow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

rashad closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
rashad cracks Shadow with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Shadow tries to reverse the position but rashad maintains control.
BOOM! rashad connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for rashad, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
