Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Crouch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Scribner! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crouch slips a jab and a cross from Scribner.
Scribner scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Crouch pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Crouch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Scribner connects with a high kick. A low kick from Crouch is predictable there and Scribner counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Crouch blocks a head kick by Scribner.
Crouch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crouch closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Scribner did well to prevent Crouch getting side control. Crouch perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Crouch uses his free foot to push down on Scribner's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Scribner. Crouch controlling his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crouch's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jacob Crouch just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Scribner fails with an attempt to clinch.
Crouch misses with a straight left. Crouch throws a leg kick and Scribner counters with a flying knee. Nice. A head kick misses from Scribner.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Scribner avoids a punch combination nicely.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Scribner scores with a nice body kick.
Scribner plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Crouch throws a shot from downtown. Scribner moves away and avoids it. Crouch misses with a double jab
and Scribner counters with a thumping low kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jacob Crouch will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

and Scribner makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Scribner slips a jab from Crouch. Crouch throws a leg kick and Scribner counters with a leg kick. Crouch misses with a looping right. Scribner throws a sloppy head kick and Crouch moves out of range easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scribner pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Crouch throws a combination that misses and Scribner counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Eric Scribner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Scribner lands a two punch combo.

Scribner fakes the leg kick and cracks Crouch in the body. Crouch misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Scribner.

and Scribner counters with a three punch combo that has Crouch backing up. Crouch nods at Scribner to acknowledge the strikes. Crouch blocks a head kick by Scribner.
Crouch gets off balance looking for a body kick and Scribner counters with a head kick. Scribner moves away from the strike by Crouch. Scribner tries to clinch up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crouch throws a big shot that misses. Scribner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Crouch. Scribner misses with a few strikes there.
Crouch pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Crouch fails with an attempt to clinch.
Crouch misses with a leg kick. Scribner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Crouch moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A low kick from Crouch is predictable there and Scribner counters with a leg kick. Scribner looks to land a combination. Crouch sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A slow jab from Crouch misses its intended target. Crouch is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Scribner. Scribner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Scribner throws a right hand that Crouch ducks under and follows up with a left that Crouch also avoids with ease. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Scribner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Crouch is looking to clinch. Scribner ducks under a wild hook from Crouch. Scribner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Scribner wants it to stay on the feet. Scribner lands a high kick!
Scribner lands a jab-cross combination. Crouch throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scribner goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Scribner lands with a kick to the temple. Crouch shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Scribner lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Crouch scores with a hook. Scribner stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacob Crouch. That's going to take a lot out of him. An inside leg kick lands from Scribner.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scribner throws a combination that misses and Crouch counters with a lovely straight right hand! A right-left combo lands from Scribner. Scribner lands a two punch combo.
Crouch throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Scribner sees it coming and avoids it easily. Crouch avoids the head kick by Scribner.
Scribner lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Crouch. Scribner is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Crouch is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Scribner wants to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Eric Scribner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Scribner has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
