Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hans Gruber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Stucco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stucco is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Epic. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hans Gruber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Trey Stucco! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gruber throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stucco was covering up waiting for the punch and Gruber finishes the takedown easily into guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stucco can do anything to dispel that myth. Stucco avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Stucco pushes Gruber off and scrambles back to his feet.
Gruber slips under a jab from Stucco. Excellent takedown into side control there by Gruber. An elbow from Gruber crashes against the mat.
Gruber stands up. Gruber decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Gruber wants to pass the guard but Stucco is defending well. Stucco regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Gruber. Stucco is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gruber is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stucco is looking to stand back up but Gruber counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Stucco. Stucco is looking to escape. Gruber missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Gruber throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Gruber controlling the action here. Gruber missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Stucco wants to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Stucco throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gruber shoots in and drives through. Stucco sprawls well. Gruber rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stucco moves out of range and avoids them all easily. The crowd cheers as Stucco lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gruber doesn't seem phased though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Gruber or perhaps it was just good defense by Stucco which made him look bad. Gruber shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stucco's guard. Stucco really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gruber. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Stucco is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Gruber is breathing heavily. Gruber has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stucco is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hans Gruber. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stucco is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Gruber is working for takedown but Stucco is calmly controlling the position for now. Gruber tries to pull guard but Stucco won't allow it.
Stucco lands a left hand.
Gruber fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Stucco lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Stucco breaks from the clinch.
Gruber closes the distance and clinches up with Stucco, looking for a takedown. Gruber pushes Stucco against the cage but Stucco circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Stucco fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stucco throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Hans Gruber has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stucco throws a combination that misses and Gruber counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stucco won't be happy with that. Stucco is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gruber asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gruber with the ground and pound but Stucco regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Stucco wants to get back to his feet. Gruber has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Stucco throws a half hearted mid kick. Gruber is looking to clinch. Stucco scores with a nice strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gruber fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Good exchange - Stucco coming out on top. Stucco pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Stucco connects with a single shot there. Stucco throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stucco throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Gruber shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gruber was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gruber thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Stucco is trying to stand. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gruber is in the full mount, landing strikes. Gruber wants to finish this one by submission but Stucco is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gruber. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hans Gruber will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Hans Gruber's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stucco scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Gruber fails with a takedown attempt. Gruber changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stucco tries to avoid it but Gruber manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stucco to the ground. Stucco escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gruber looks for a takedown but Stucco sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hans Gruber. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stucco thows a body shot but no joy. Stucco misses with a straight left. Stucco swings for the body but Gruber moves out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stucco tries a head kick but it misses.
Stucco throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gruber sees it coming and avoids it easily. Gruber steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stucco.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gruber fails to land the takedown. Stucco smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Gruber uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stucco. Stucco wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Gruber fails to land the takedown. Stucco looks for the body kick but Gruber saw that one coming. Stucco looks to land a combination but Gruber avoids it well. Hans Gruber is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stucco connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Stucco, as that shot connected.
Gruber is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Stucco uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Gruber is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Stucco misses with a head kick.
Oh Gruber is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Stucco connects with a superb combination that knocks Gruber out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Stucco before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Gruber!
