Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raaka Arska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kain Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Raaka Arska has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Raaka Arska seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raaka Arska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kain Velasquez!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez throws the kick towards the body but Arska avoids it.
Arska gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Arska gets a takedown into half guard.
Velasquez is looking to escape.
Arska missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Arska lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Velasquez blocking the ground and pound attempt from Arska.
Velasquez won't allow Arska to pass to mount.
Arska has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Arska wants to take a breather but Velasquez is having none of it.
Arska stops Velasquez from getting back to his feet.
Arska thows a huge punch but Velasquez dodges it nicely.

Velasquez moves into full guard.
Velasquez avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Arska working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Arska throws a hook to the side of Velasquez's head but Velasquez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kain Velasquez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fighters circling - Arska throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Arska misses with a looping right.
Arska getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

It looks like Kain Velasquez has been cut.
Velasquez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Arska moves away.
Velasquez on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Velasquez tries to land a front kick but Arska steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Arska connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Arska misses with a wild body shot.
Arska closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Velasquez! Arska dives in looking to finish! Velasquez is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
