The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Silva looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Leroux scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Silva doesn't seem bothered though.
Leroux scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Leroux knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
Leroux passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Silva!
Leroux lands a big elbow.
Silva is rocked!
It looks like Damien Silva has been cut.
Leroux landing strikes from the mount and Silva is in trouble!
Silva is still in real trouble! Can Leroux finish him?
That has opened up Damien Silva's cut even more.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Leroux forces the positional change into back control.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Silva seems to have recovered his senses.
Leroux softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Leroux has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Silva.
The cut above Damien Silva's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Leroux looking for the choke from the back.
Silva is keeping busy.
Silva is taking damage to the body and head.
Leroux is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Leroux gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Leroux gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Leroux apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Damien Silva's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Damien Silva's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Winston Leroux!
