The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

NaLeans is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Grant tries to circle away but NaLeans has him pinned against the cage.

Grant tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. NaLeans smiles and moves away.
NaLeans scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Grant looks to throw the jab but NaLeans is out of range.
NaLeans lands an overhand right.
Grant darts in trying to clinch
enabling NaLeans to counter with a crisp jab.
Grant takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

and NaLeans moves into the clinch.

NaLeans connects with a massive knee from the clinch and Grant goes down! NaLeans jumps into full mount looking to finish!


Grant is rocked!
NaLeans takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Oh Grant is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
NaLeans is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Grant is in real trouble.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Grant is trapped and NaLeans is scoring with shots to the head and body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Marcus Grant's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


A jab lands there for NaLeans.
Grant lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Grant tries to clinch but NaLeans moves away
and NaLeans counters with a stiff right hand.
Grant throws a quick head kick that skims the top of NaLeans's head.
Grant fails in his attempt to clinch.
Grant misses with a looping left.
Grant seems to have got his legs back now.
Grant closes the distance and clinches up with NaLeans, looking for a takedown. Grant pushes NaLeans against the cage but NaLeans circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
NaLeans scores with a nice right hand.
NaLeans drops Grant with a big left hand! Grant is injured, injured bad! NaLeans jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
