Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bugs McGillicutty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Preston Schmidli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmidli has chosen Tenacious D - Tribute as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGillicutty keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
McGillicutty feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Schmidli sprawling to the canvas! Schmidli rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McGillicutty finish him?!
Schmidli is rocked!
It looks like Preston Schmidli has been cut.
Schmidli misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Schmidli is still on wobbly legs! Can McGillicutty finish him?
McGillicutty feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Schmidli crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
