The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cinis tries to close the distance and clinch but Akram swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cinis dives in and grabs Akram's left leg, looking for a takedown. Akram pushes down on Cinis's head and hops out.
Cinis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Akram swivels and escapes.
Akram keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mohammed Akram has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomass Cinis.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cinis shoots in for a takedown but Akram shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Akram shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee warns Cinis that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
