Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Milo Cortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maito Poika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cortez has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poika misses with a two punch combination.
Poika throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Poika moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Cortez is breathing heavily.
Cortez tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Poika feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cortez's calf.
Poika moves into the clinch successfully.
Poika manages to break the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Poika lands with a slapping head kick.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Poika - that will leave a mark!
Poika throws a sloppy head kick and Cortez moves out of range easily.
Poika scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Poika turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Poika swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Poika thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Cortez if he has to take too many more of those.
Poika will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A thudding body kick lands there by Poika!
Poika is looking to slow Cortez down with leg kicks.
A nice leg kick lands there from Poika.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Poika, right into the meat.
Cortez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Poika tests Cortez's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cortez is rocked!
Cortez takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Oh Cortez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Poika chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Cortez seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Poika throws a nice head kick!
Poika is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Cortez hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
