The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanford tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ka swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sanford throws a series of punches but Ka moves out of range.
Sanford lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ka backs up against the cage.
It looks like Yuri Ka has been cut.
Ka displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sanford.
Sanford waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ka.
Ka with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ka sizes up Sanford with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Ka feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sanford's calf.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sanford throws a nice looking combination but Ka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sanford is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A big right from Sanford misses.
Ka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Sanford takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sanford stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ka.

Yuri Ka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ka throws out a loose jab but Sanford uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ka scores with a jab to the head.
Ka scores with a hook.
Sanford throws a head kick but Ka moves out of range.
Sanford throws a sloppy head kick
and Ka makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Ka lands with an uppercut that bounces Sanford off the cage and back into rage.
Ka drops Sanford with a big left hand! Sanford is injured, injured bad! Ka jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
