Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thor Omega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Nobonenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nobonenko has chosen Fire Head as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Yuri Nobonenko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thor Omega! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yuri Nobonenko! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Nobonenko misses. Nobonenko scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Omega moves out of range of the leg kick from Nobonenko. Nobonenko walks into a stiff left hand from Omega. A low kick from Omega misses and Nobonenko counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Nobonenko missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Nobonenko is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Nobonenko is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nobonenko is looking for a kimura here.
Nobonenko is looking to stall here but Omega recovers full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Omega keeping moving, preventing Nobonenko from controlling successfully. Omega wants to stand but Nobonenko is controlling the position. Nobonenko with a flurry of punches that miss.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nobonenko throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nobonenko tries a head kick but it misses.
Omega lands the left hand. Nice defenses there by Omega. Nobonenko takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Omega throws out a loose jab but Nobonenko uses good head movement to avoid it. Nobonenko lands with a nice body kick. A punch combination from Nobonenko misses. Omega connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nobonenko momentarily.
Thor Omega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nobonenko throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Omega really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Omega throws a hook to the side of Nobonenko's head but Nobonenko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nobonenko takes a jab right on the kisser.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Omega misses with a straight left. Omega circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Omega counters with a right hand to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Omega scores with a jab to the head.
Omega drops Nobonenko with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Nobonenko! Omega dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
