Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bob Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Bezreki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Nelson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Bezreki! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Nelson as Bezreki shoots in. Bezreki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nelson but Nelson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bezreki closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nelson circles away. Bob Nelson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Bezreki. Nelson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bezreki tries to clinch there but Nelson circles away.
Nelson closes the distance and clinches. Nelson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bezreki prevents it.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bezreki tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Nelson smiles and moves away.
Bezreki closes the distance but Nelson moves to the side and Nelson counters with a takedown into side control. Bezreki tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nelson wants to control but Bezreki is keeping him busy. Bezreki is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nelson is trying to get an arm triangle but Bezreki is defending well. Bezreki prevents Nelson from moving into mount. Bezreki is looking to regain half guard here but Nelson keeps moving and retains side control. Nelson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bezreki, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Some wild striking there from Bezreki.
Bezreki misses with a takedown attempt and Nelson counters by moving into the clinch. Bezreki looks gassed! Nelson tries to score a body lock takedown but Bezreki shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Nelson has hold of one of Bezreki's legs. Bezreki is fighting the takedown attempt but Nelson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Bezreki controls Nelson momentarily but Nelson frees himself. Nelson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Nelson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bezreki keeping moving, preventing Nelson from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nelson is in close to Bezreki's body, working some short punches and elbows. Nelson throws a big right hand that misses. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Nelson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Bezreki controls Nelson momentarily but Nelson frees himself. Nelson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Nelson throwing strikes from guard but Bezreki blocks nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bezreki can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nelson controls the pace. Bezreki looking to control.
Nelson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Bezreki is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nelson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Bezreki manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nelson manages to get himself to full guard.

Bob Nelson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Nelson. Nelson working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Nelson tries to move to mount but Bezreki blocks the move with his legs. Nelson working away. Bezreki misses with an elbow from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bezreki can't do much from the bottom here. Nelson taking a breather here. Nelson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bezreki wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Bezreki's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nelson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bezreki. Bezreki obviously looking to wear him down.
Nelson has a takedown stuffed. Bezreki throws a lazy head kick and Nelson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Nelson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Bezreki keeping moving, preventing Nelson from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nelson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nelson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bezreki controls Nelson momentarily but Nelson frees himself. Bezreki is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bezreki controls Nelson momentarily but Nelson frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bezreki gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Nelson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bezreki! Nelson lands a heavy elbow. Bob Nelson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Nelson has control of Bezreki's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bezreki regains control of the situation pretty easily.

BOOM! Nelson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Nelson looking to control but Bezreki is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bezreki wants to hold on but Nelson pushes him away. Nelson wants to finish this one by submission but Bezreki is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nelson. Nelson looking to control and managing it successfully. Bezreki wants to control but Nelson is having none of it. Nelson lands a big elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Nelson dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Bezreki tries to clinch but fails miserably and Nelson counters with a single leg into guard. Bezreki didn't expect that. Nelson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Nelson stays in close to Bezreki's body and controls the position. Nelson trying to control but Bezreki is working from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bezreki is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nelson prevents Bezreki from getting back to his feet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nelson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Nelson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Nelson looking to sit in guard and control but Bezreki gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Nelson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Nelson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bezreki manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bezreki is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Nelson has his hands clasped together but Bezreki extends an breaks Nelson's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Bezreki.
