Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Francois Desjardins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Super Man!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man shoots in for a takedown but Desjardins shows good takedown defense.
Man shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Desjardins defends it nicely.
Desjardins shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Man as he jumps to the side.
Man has his takedown stuffed

and Desjardins counters with a takedown into side control.
Francois Desjardins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Super Man.

Desjardins wants to control but Man is keeping busy.
Man wants to free his trapped foot but Desjardins is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Man jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Desjardins manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Man is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Desjardins is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Man is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Desjardins knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Desjardins sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Man looks like he's trying to stand up.
Desjardins throws a strike but Man avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Desjardins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Man works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Desjardins wants to control from the top but Man keeps moving.

Man looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Desjardins is defending well. Man quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Desjardins has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Man celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
