Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Albert Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Shride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Shride's choice of entrance music: Can't Tell Me Nothin' from Kanye West. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Albert Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Derek Shride!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall keeps the fight on the outside.
Hall has Shride up against the cage in a clinch.
Shride escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hall stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hall moves into the clinch.
Hall blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Hall tries to circle away but Shride has him pinned against the cage.
Shride is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hall is keeping busy.
Shride makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Shride wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Shride lands a nice uppercut.
Shride throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Halls head.
Hall can't get the takedown.
Shride jumps guard but Hall stands there with Shride around his waist. Shride gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Shride breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hall throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shride's waist but Shride gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hall off to one side.
Shride cracks Hall on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Hall falls backwards against the cage. Shride follows up with more strikes that drop Hall to his knees. Shride keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Hall! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Derek Shride!
