Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Stapleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stapleton comes to the cage accompanied by Movin' That. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, David Stapleton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Winchester!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winchester throws a series of punches but Stapleton moves out of range.
Stapleton shoots for a double leg takedown but Winchester sprawls well. He's pushed Stapleton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Stapleton slips a jab and a cross from Winchester.

Stapleton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Winchester gets back to half guard.
Winchester controlling the position well.

Stapleton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Stapleton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Winchester with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Winchester wants to improve his position but Stapleton is controlling well.

Stapleton is looking for a kimura here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Winchester is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

David Stapleton showed his dominance in that final round.
