Spackman comes to the cage accompanied by Forgot about Dre. American Fedor will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, John Spackman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, American Fedor!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Fedor, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Spackman looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Fedor throws out a loose jab but Spackman uses good head movement to avoid it.

Spackman clinches up against the cage.
Fedor tries to circle away but Spackman has him pinned against the cage.
Spackman keeps control of Fedor as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Fedor can't break the clinch.
Fedor working hard to break the clinch.
Fedor lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Spackman.
Spackman has had enough of the clinch but Fedor keeps him there for the moment.
Fedor is looking to break free of the clinch but Spackman has double underhooks.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Fedor as Spackman tries to tie him up.
A right handed body shot lands from Fedor.
Spackman is trying to break the clinch but Fedor has him pressed against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Fedor scores with a nice short uppercut.
Fedor keeps control of Spackman as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Fedor wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Spackman has him pressed against the cage.
Fedor stalling in the clinch but Spackman improves position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Spackman prevents Fedor from breaking the clinch.

Spackman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
American Fedor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fedor thuds his right hand into Spackman's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.


It looks like John Spackman has been cut.
Spackman takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fedor throws a looping overhand right but Spackman ducks down to avoid it.
Spackman takes a body punch but keeps moving.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fedor clobbers Spackman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Spackman takes one on the chin but seems OK.


John Spackman's cut is getting worse.
Fedor throws a right hand that Spackman ducks under and follows up with a left that Spackman also avoids with ease.
Spackman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fedor.

Fedor lands a big right hand that sends Spackman crashing to the mat! Fedor stays standing though and waves Spackman back to his feet!


Spackman is rocked!
Spackman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fedor.
Oh Spackman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fedor lands a glancing blow to the side of Spackman's head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fedor closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Spackman out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). American Fedor!
