Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Dark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Dean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Dark! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dark leaves Dean with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Eddie Dean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good work by Dark as he checks the leg kick. Dean shoots in for a double leg but Dark sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dean shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Dean. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dean is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dark's half guard. Dean wants to take a breather but Dark is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dark flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Dark wants to improve his position but Dean is controlling well.
Dean sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dark defending well though. Dark tries to kick Dean off but Dean keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Dean looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Dark is trying to stand up here but Dean is controlling him well. Dark keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dean bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Dean wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dark, who protects the arm well. Dark is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dean has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dean working the ground and pound from side control. Dark is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dean asserts his dominance and retains side control. Dean tries to advance to mount but Dark denies him. Dean advances nicely into full mount. Dark tries to buck Dean off but he can't manage it. Dean looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Dean breaks from Dark's wrist control and lands an elbow. Dark wants to hold on but Dean pushes him away. Dark keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dean is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dark to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dark shrugs it off. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dean with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Dark is in all sorts of trouble here.

Dean working for a guillotine from mount but Dark is in no mood to give up. Dean throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Dark has his hands clasped together but Dean breaks the hold and Dark is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Dean!
