Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Kingston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Lang! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lang. Lang closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kingston circles away. Lang scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kingston can't do much from the bottom here. Kingston striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Kingston manages to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kingston keeping hold of Lang's head, controlling as best he can. Lang is looking to take a break and control but Kingston is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kingston is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lang is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kingston doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lang. Lang looks gassed! Kingston is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest. Kingston is controlling Lang's trapped leg to prevent Lang from advancing to side control. Kingston is trying to maintain the position but Lang is very close to passing his half guard. Kingston is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lang's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lang's back! What can Lang do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Lang tries to escape but Kingston has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kingston connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Lang to escape the position.
Kingston is punishing Lang with strikes - can he finish him?! Kingston punishes Lang with strikes from the back mount. Lang is trying to defend against the choke here but Kingston has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Kingston Tightens the hold and Lang taps out furiously! Kingston displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mark Kingston!
