Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris The Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laquisish Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Hammer comes to the cage accompanied by Indestructible. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chris The Hammer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Laquisish Jones!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Hammer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.
The Hammer throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.

Jones darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Jones looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Jones is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Jones has hold of The Hammer's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and The Hammer manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The Hammer tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Chris The Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Hammer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

The Hammer blocks a head kick by Jones.
The Hammer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chris The Hammer is winning the standup battle so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Nice takedown defense from The Hammer. No joy for Jones on that attempt.
Chris The Hammer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Laquisish Jones.
Jones shoots for a takedown but The Hammer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Crunch! The Hammer slams his shin into Jones's torso.
The Hammer lands with a slapping head kick.
Jones tries to clinch up.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with The Hammer but The Hammer pushes him off and we're back to square one.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The Hammer looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. The Hammer tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag The Hammer to the ground. The Hammer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jones fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jones blocks a head kick by The Hammer.

Jones clinches.

The Hammer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt.
The Hammer throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
The Hammer looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well.

Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with The Hammer, pushing him back against the cage.

Jones gets control of The Hammer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jones will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The Hammer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The Hammer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells The Hammer's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The Hammer keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jones's head.
The Hammer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The Hammer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Jones is tightening it up a little... The Hammer has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! The Hammer reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! The Hammer taps out! nice BJJ there by Jones!
